Representative Experience

  • Obtained dismissal with prejudice in a case wherein Plaintiff filed a complaint claiming that our insurance broker client negligently procured a commercial general liability policy for a gymnastics facility, that later denied medical coverage for Plaintiff’s injury sustained at the facility; the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court agreed with our attorneys arguments that there was no existing relationship between Plaintiff and our client that would impose any duty on our client, and that Plaintiff was never an intended beneficiary of the policy and the claims were time barred under Section 13/214.4 of the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure.
  • Obtained summary judgment in a federal trademark infringement and false advertising case on behalf of an employment and staffing agency client wherein Plaintiff alleged intentional trademark infringement, false advertising and violations of the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA); the Northern District of Indiana approved our attorneys’ motions, finding in favor of our client.

Representative Matters
