Melissa focuses her defense practice on general liability including first and third-party liability, personal injury and property damage claims. Throughout her legal career, Melissa has represented a variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, healthcare facilities, contractors, motor vehicle and trucking carriers, as well as their insureds.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Melissa was Staff Counsel at the largest automotive insurance company in the State of Arizona. While there, she handled all stages of litigation including depositions, arbitrations, mediations, bench and jury trials.
After earning her degree from Arizona Summit School of Law, Melissa worked for Maricopa County Superior Court Judge, The Honorable Dawn M. Bergin. Prior to Law School, Melissa worked in Washington, D.C. for former California Congressman, David T. Dreier.
