Ladasiah focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense. She uses her knowledge of motion practice, discovery and mediation to resolve complex legal disputes such as Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) benefits claims, real property disputes and professional liability cases on behalf of insurers, businesses, government agencies and individuals. Ladasiah is recognized as an effective attorney who resolves cases by settlement, trial or appeal.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Ladasiah worked in private practice and handled general liability and workers’ compensation cases. At this time, she also volunteered at her local probate clinic and assisted individuals with their estate planning needs. Previously, Ladasiah worked for the State of Florida for more than 20 years as a senior assistant general counsel. During this time, she drafted rules and procedures for many state agencies and litigated several cases in Florida administrative, state and appellate courts on behalf of the government. While working in the government sector, Ladasiah provided legal guidance on all enforcement actions and also served on the Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee.
