Avery focuses his litigation practice on representing corporations, local agencies, manufacturers, privately held businesses, insurers and their policy holders. He counsels and defends clients in a variety of civil litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Avery has experience across various stages of the litigation process, including pre-suit investigations, pleadings, discovery, motion practice and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Avery gained experience as a law clerk at three Philadelphia law firms, and was also a summer associate at a mid-sized regional law firm. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sherry R. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

During law school, Avery earned multiple academic distinctions, including the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Torts and the Outstanding Student Service Award. He was a finalist for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society Negotiations Competition and later served on the Executive Board as the Vice President and Competitions Chair. Avery served in key student leadership roles, including as a former board member on the Widener University Title IX Campus Safety Advisory Board.
