Roy focuses his practice on general liability and insurance defense. He has experience defending corporations and individuals in litigation involving commercial disputes, products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, negligent security and maritime claims.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Roy represented one of North America’s largest security companies in wrongful death and personal injury cases, including claims involving excessive force and negligent security. He also defended a major utility company and its employees against premises liability and motor vehicle claims.
Roy began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he handled domestic violence cases and gained valuable courtroom experience.
