Connor M. Oehmke

Connor focuses his practice on insurance defense litigation, general liability, insurance coverage and labor and employment law, including workers’ compensation claims. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Connor worked as a civil defense litigation attorney in Southern Illinois. As a defense attorney, he prepared dispositive motions, attended mediations and arbitration hearings, and argued appeals before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.

While attending Southern Illinois University School of Law, Connor served as a judicial law clerk for the First Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County in Murphysboro, Illinois, where he clerked part-time for Judge Christy Solverson, the presiding judge of the civil litigation docket. Connor’s duties included judicial research for written memoranda as well as drafting court orders on behalf of Judge Solverson throughout his tenure.
