Chris focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense and general liability matters. He represents hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, insurers and businesses in high-exposure cases involving bodily injury, medical negligence, wrongful death and premises liability. Additionally, he handles transportation-related claims. Chris’s experience spans all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration and trial. He excels in strategic case analysis and courtroom advocacy, and collaborates with insurers, adjusters and risk management professionals.
Chris applies his experience as a critical care nurse to his legal practice, enabling him to evaluate complex medical records and expert testimony with precision.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Chris practiced law in Florida where he tried numerous jury trials, and applied municipal legislation and policy experience he gained while interning at the New York City Council Legislative Division.
