Thane handles insurance defense matters in a variety of areas including general liability, products liability and business litigation. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, he gained litigation experience in areas of law that included cyber law, business law and defending government employees in federal court.
Practices
- Obtained unanimous verdict in a federal jury trial wherein Plaintiff alleged physical injuries after being assaulted by a group of state correctional officers without provocation; the Court dismissed Plaintiff’s retaliation claim against individual correctional officer clients on motion for directed verdict, and the Jury found that the officers did not use excessive force under the circumstances.
