Illinois Attorney Appointed to Regional Transportation Authority Board of Directors
Litchfield Cavo LLP is pleased to announce that Chicago attorney Mary Beth Canty has been appointed a Director of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). Mary Beth was named to the Board of Directors in July 2020 and represents the northeastern suburban region of Cook County, Illinois.
The RTA is a public entity governing body charged with financial oversight, funding and transit planning for four of the region’s operating service boards, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra, Pace Suburban Bus service and Pace Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit. The RTA system serves six counties with 7,200 route miles throughout northeastern Illinois.
