Chicago Partner Co-Presents COVID-19 Presumption in Action
Illinois partner Jonathan E. Barrish will co-present during the upcoming National Association of Construction Boilermaker Employers (NACBE) and The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) Joint Safety Committee Meeting on Wednesday, February 9. During the presentation titled, “The COVID-19 Presumption In Action” Jonathan and his co-presenter will discuss Illinois’ COVID-19 presumption, how it has been applied to date, and the evidence a party may need to prove that a COVID-19 exposure is, or is not, work related. Meeting participants include safety professionals from union contractors throughout the United States. Jonathan’s co-presenter is David B. Menchetti of Cullen, Haskins, Nicholson & Menchetti P.C.
NACBE identifies issues that impact the construction industry and collaborates with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, employers and other industry organizations to develop solutions that promote the highest standards of safety, a drug-free workforce and productivity in the construction industry.
TAUC is the premier national trade association for the union construction industry. The TAUC is comprised of more than 1,800 contractor companies that utilize union labor for their projects, as well as local contractor associations and vendors in the industrial maintenance and construction fields.
