Fort Lauderdale Partner to Speak at Virtual Conference About Cannabis Laws
Litchfield Cavo LLP partner David S. Gold will speak at the 2020 CLM Workers’ Compensation and Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality Conference in a new virtual event format. David’s presentation will be held on June 17, 2020.
David’s presentation, “Going to Pot—The Future of Pain Management,” will explore the different questions that legalized medical and recreational marijuana brings to workers’ compensation claims, including how cannabis laws differ across jurisdictions and advice for carriers and employers on various case management strategies.
