Mark focuses his practice on intellectual property law, business and commercial litigation, and transactional matters, including those involving cybersecurity and data privacy, and entertainment law. He has successfully handled cases across the country in both state and federal courts.
In his intellectual property practice, Mark represents large international companies in litigation involving copyright and trademark issues, false advertising, trade secrets and domain name disputes. He also manages and protects clients’ intellectual property portfolios and provides guidance on copyright and trademark registration and maintenance. Mark’s entertainment practice includes representing production companies and creative professionals who collaborate with major studios and talent agencies. He has participated in high-stakes contract negotiations with favorable outcomes and has guided clients through complex litigation matters to successful resolutions. Mark also has significant experience with First Amendment issues, having successfully defended against motions and lawsuits in multiple states involving free speech, anti-SLAPP, commercial speech, defamation and disputes involving religious organizations.
With more than 20 years of experience, Mark brings a combination of large-firm litigation background and practical sophistication to meet the business needs of his clients. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, he practiced in the Atlanta and Los Angeles offices of an Am Law 100 firm and served as in-house corporate counsel for a multinational real estate company.
