Lucia focuses her legal practice in the areas of insurance coverage, general liability, workers’ compensation, employment and labor law. She has additional representative experience defending against premises liability and personal injury claims on behalf of her clients. Lucia also represents policyholders and insurance companies in various civil matters. While defending clients, she finds the appropriate balance between their legal needs and the technical aspects within each case that are necessary to produces favorable results.
Lucia has prior experience as a defense trial attorney at a national Fortune 100 insurance company where she handled general liability, premises liability and motor vehicle liability cases. She has additional experience as a foreclosure attorney at a large Hartford, Conn. law firm. During this time, Lucia represented various banks and mediated foreclosures between her clients and homeowners. She also worked with lender representatives to evaluate the bank’s legal needs and protect their interests through litigation in the area of foreclosure law.
