Litchfield Cavo LLP continues to expand with its addition of a Kansas City office. This Missouri location is Litchfield Cavo’s second office in the state, with the first office in that state having opened its doors in 2016 with the establishment of a St. Louis office. “Our dedicated team of attorneys and staff provide unparalleled legal service to meet our clients’ demands for the Firm’s services,” says Litchfield Cavo LLP Managing Partner John J. Litchfield Cavo’s Kansas City office will initially be staffed with three partners and an associate attorney with an expectation to grow in the coming year.

Brian G. Boos, Partner
Brian has more than 30 years of experience representing individuals and corporations in complex tort and commercial litigation. He has tried more than 60 cases to verdict and has handled nearly 100 appeals. Brian’s representative clients comprise Fortune 50 companies, a nationwide group health insurer, and a global door and security management systems manufacturer. He also represents medical and non-medical professionals and practice groups; lenders, financial institutions and investment advisors; and, agricultural cooperatives.
Michael L. Brown, Partner
Mike has extensive experience with contracts, risk management and business litigation. He uses his vast contract drafting and interpretation experience to counsel corporate clients, handle their transactional work, and review and analyze their contracts. Mike’s clients comprise architects, engineers, contractors and insurance brokers for which he handles an extensive range of business matters, from breach of construction contracts to insurance coverage disputes. He also counsels corporate entities on licensing issues, employment law and professional liability cases, and advises clients on avoiding future litigation.
Katy Houchin, Attorney
Katy is an experienced litigator and focuses her practice on insurance coverage, business litigation and general liability matters. She has experience representing institutional and private clients in Missouri and Kansas state and federal courts.
