New York Partner Michael Dvorkin Obtains Defense Verdict in State’s Supreme Court

On January 11, 2018, New York Partner Michael Dvorkin obtained a defense verdict in New York Supreme Court, Suffolk County. The case was an action to recover for personal injuries allegedly sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Plaintiff alleged severe and permanent injuries, including multiple fractures requiring hospitalizations, extended rehabilitation and surgery, and demanded $1 million to settle the action, though this demand was never reduced in any way. After a bench trial, Justice Peter Mayer returned a verdict in favor of our clients.
