Missouri Partner Inducted as Fellow of College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers
St. Louis Partner Gregory S. Keltner was recently inducted as a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in the 2022 class. Greg, along with other elected attorneys, were inducted at the Annual Induction Dinner on Saturday, March 5 in New Orleans at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place.
Elected Fellows are recognized as reputable members of the workers’ compensation legal community, and are nominated by current Fellows of the College. A Fellow is expected to display honorable traits in their daily practice such as standing out as a role model, displaying civility in adversarial relationships, demonstrating an active interest in resolving issues and more. Nominations for new members take place between September 1 and November 1 on a yearly basis. After nominations, their Committee reviews each nomination and delivers recommendations to the Board of Governors who then make the final decision concerning selected Fellow inductees.
The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers honors distinguished attorneys in their practice in the field of workers’ compensation. Members are nominated for the outstanding qualities they have developed in their practice of twenty years minimum.
Greg focuses his practice on workers’ compensation cases in central and southern Illinois. He has represented employers, insurance carriers, and third party administrators in a number of industries including coal mining, waste disposal and manufacturing. Greg tries numerous cases each year before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and handles workers’ compensation appeals in the circuit and appellate courts.
