Greg focuses his practice on workers’ compensation cases in central and southern Illinois. Throughout his more than 30 years of practicing law, he has represented employers, insurance carriers and third party administrators in a number of industries including coal mining, waste collection and manufacturing. Greg has additional legal experience handling claims involving toxic tort and automobile liability defense matters.
Greg tries numerous cases each year before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and handles workers’ compensation appeals in the circuit and appellate courts. He has tried cases before the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission involving disputed safety citations issued to mining operators by the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
Greg is currently serving as an appointed member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Workers’ Compensation Section Council, and has done so periodically since 1993. He has been a speaker at seminars on worker’s compensation sponsored by the Law Section Council for more than 20 years and has authored articles for its newsletter.
