Amir focuses his practice on civil litigation including general liability, business litigation and construction liability. His representative clients include a wide range of clientele, such as individuals and insureds for insurance companies, financial institutions, car manufacturers and large retail stores. Amir has experience handling matters that involve contractual disputes, premises liabilities and motor vehicle accidents.
Amir previously practiced law at a mid-sized litigation firm where he handled complex cases in mass tort action concerning Northern California fires, opioid class actions and multi-district litigation involving automobile emissions. He previously clerked at the Ventura County District Attorney’s office and assisted multiple deputy district attorneys with prosecuting white-collar crimes including predatory lending, insurance and real estate fraud.
Before immigrating to the United States, Amir practiced law in Iran. During this time, he litigated and prevailed on numerous cases including breach of contract, trademark, landlord-tenant and real estate disputes against the Iranian government. Amir also defended indigent clients, on a pro bono basis, charged with criminal offenses.
