Tico primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, construction defects, products liability, premises liability and insurance coverage. He also represents a wide range of small businesses, including contractors, tradesmen, manufacturers, distributors, livery companies, and financial institutions in actions involving personal injuries or property damage.
Tico also has defended transportation companies and other public entities in cases involving wrongful death allegations. He has experience with subrogation claims including cases with issues of first-party coverage, property damage and transportation law. Tico has handled FCRA and FDCPA claims and contract matters for credit unions, and additional experience with appeals filed in the United States Supreme Court.
While attending the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, Tico participated in trial advocacy activities, in which he was recognized as the highest performer in the Appellate Mock Trial Oral Argument Competition before justices of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Tico was a participant in the White Collar Crime Clinic at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and was a judicial extern with the Honorable Sam Myers of the Maricopa County Superior Court.
