Nsenga is a seasoned trial attorney and litigator whose practice focuses on insurance defense, premises liability and general liability litigation. Throughout her career, she has served as both first and second chair trial attorney in civil and criminal cases, including while prosecuting matters as an Assistant District Attorney and litigating complex mass tort and personal injury claims. She represents insurers, corporate entities and property owners in a broad array of civil matters including bodily injury, trip-and-fall accidents, toxic torts and complex personal injury defense. Nsenga manages all stages of litigation from case inception through trial, including depositions, motion practice and trial preparation.
Nsenga previously prosecuted high-stakes litigation against major corporations in complex mass tort and personal injury matters. She has extensive experience in the New York Asbestos Litigation (NYCAL) docket and has litigated cases involving claims against as many as 20 to 30 corporate defendants simultaneously. Her litigation background also includes prosecuting motor vehicle accidents, trip and falls, slip and falls and medical malpractice cases against individuals, insurance companies, major corporations, hospitals and physicians.
Nsenga began her legal career as An Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and earlier served as a Rights & Clearances Associate at ABC News, where she was part of the that team that received the 2014 Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Journalism.
After law school, Nsenga completed a legal fellowship with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, Departmental Disciplinary Committee, where she assisted in the investigation and analysis of attorney misconduct cases. This experience has strengthened her understanding of ethical obligations and legal professionalism, which she now draws upon to guide her litigation strategies and ensure compliance with high standards of conduct in all phases of practice.
Known for her strong oral advocacy, Nsenga has argued dispositive motions, conducted complex depositions, prepared expert witnesses for trial and participated in both jury selection and trial strategy meetings.
