Rob focuses his legal practice on litigation matters, primarily products liability, premises liability and negligent security. He handles all aspects of general liability defense matters, including property damage, business disputes and personal injury. Rob also has experience handling transactional matters such as real estate development, zoning/planning cases, business contracts, and probate. His representative clients include insurance carriers, government and private entities, and individuals. Rob valuable courtroom experience includes handling nearly 50 jury trials as first chair.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Rob worked at a Florida-based law firm and concentrated his practice on both litigation and transactional matters, handling cases from inception through resolution. Previously, he was a Florida assistant state attorney for both the 10th and 13th Judicial Circuits where he prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from routine misdemeanor offenses through manslaughter convictions.
While earning his law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Rob was vice president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and participated in competitions throughout the country. He also was involved in the school’s Family Advocacy Clinic.
