Michael is a Partner in Litchfield Cavo LLP’s Kansas City, Missouri, office. He defends clients against general liability matters including personal injury, motor vehicle, premises liability and commercial liability claims. Michael’s law practice involves defending employers in wrongful termination claims as well as counseling employers on employment issues with personnel and compliance matters. He also handles insurance coverage issues, breach of contract and bad faith claims. Michael has experience working with clients in the transportation, retail, hospitality, insurance, real estate, and food and beverage industries, as well as public and private entities. He has additional experience advising clients on litigation avoidance techniques to assist with averting risks and conflicts.
Michael has more than a decade of experience litigating cases filed in state and federal courts, with a proven record of obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients. He has presented to attorneys, paralegals and insurance claims professionals at a variety of conferences. Michael has authored continuing education courses, including writings about popular topics such as disputes in the workplace and personal injury law.
