“Sam” concentrates his legal practice in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance litigation and first-party property coverage. He has experience drafting substantive briefs and dispositive motions, presenting oral arguments, and handling first-chair trials in judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Sam was an assistant attorney general at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General where he represented state agencies and officials in diverse civil defense litigation cases. Preceding his experience as an assistant attorney general, Sam was a staff attorney at the Law Center for Better Housing where he represented low-income tenants’ housing rights.
While attending Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Sam served as a judicial extern for Justice R. Patrick DeWine of the Supreme Court of Ohio, and he performed research and provided recommendations in support of Justice’s opinions.
