Katherine focuses her practice on general liability matters, and primarily focuses on premises liability claims. She has experience handling first- and third-party insurance defense claims, insurance coverage matters, trucking and transportation, and disability claims. Katherine also has experience handling wrongful death matters involving trucking and motor vehicle accidents.
Katherine is a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer in Hillsborough County, Florida, representing foster children within the district. Additionally, she presented at, and participated in media appearances on behalf of the Heart Gallery of Tampa, a local charity that advocates for foster teens.
Practices
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of our property management company client wherein Plaintiff allegedly slipped and fell while ascending our client’s external stairway, sustaining a complex ankle fracture; our attorneys contended that there were inconsistencies and flaws in the testimony presented before the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court and evidence offered by Plaintiff, and the court ruled in favor of our client.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a security company in a claim involving a trip and fall at a local sports arena. She contended that there was no reliable evidence to suggest that the client was involved in the claim, and the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court ruled in favor of the client.
