Edirin focuses his practice on general business litigation and commercial liability, and also represents clients in professional liability matters involving attorney conflict-of-interest. He advocates for financial institutions including banks, credit unions and mid-sized businesses in commercial disputes before state and federal courts nationwide.
Before joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Edirin practiced law at several mid-sized Chicago firms, representing business owners, creditors, sales representatives, homeowners associations, and commercial landlords and tenants in matters such as breach of contract, evictions, secured lender disputes, legal conflicts-of-interest and banking compliance.
Earlier in his career, Edirin represented clients in a range of commercial disputes, managing all phases of litigation—from pleadings through advanced pre-trial summary judgment—in cases involving commercial foreclosures, unjust enrichment, executive liability for attorney malpractice and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) priority disputes.
While earning his master’s degree at Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business, Edirin was affiliated with an international law firm based in Nigeria, where he advised local businesses pursuing American expansion on issues involving commercial law, business immigration and United States investment opportunities.
