Alexandra focuses her practice on employment law, executive compensation, business and contract law, as well as general liability. She represents financial institutions and corporate entities in matters involving compliance, benefits administration, employment issues and complex investment contracts.
Alexandra’s experience includes working within hedge funds and consulting firms to align their human resources initiatives with overarching business strategies. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Alexandra oversaw employee benefits programs at an investment management company and collaborated with general counsel on employment contracts and promotion letters. Specifically, she worked within a team to confirm Firm-wide compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Alexandra’s background also includes serving as an analyst and also a consultant at a global professional services network. In these roles, she was a technical analyst of deferred compensation plans and reviewed intricate investment contracts.
Alexandra’s foundation of legal experience includes a clerkship with the Massachusetts Land Court where she drafted judicial orders and researched real property jurisdictional issues. She also was a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and Greater Boston Legal Services, that provided her with a broad understanding of both federal litigation and individual advocacy.
