Samuel A. Pomeroy

Sam represents businesses of all sizes and insurers, focusing his practice on complex insurance defense, commercial litigation, insurance coverage and employment law, and is known for delivering clear, practical advice and counsel to clients. Sam handles all phases of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, arguing dispositive motions, conducting discovery, appearing at trial or negotiating settlements, and managing appeals. He represents clients in motor vehicle crash rapid response and pre-suit investigations, and also counsels clients on employment matters including defense of claims involving discrimination, workplace harassment and retaliation. In addition, Sam has experience representing businesses in commercial lease negotiations.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Sam practiced at a Missouri law firm with a focus on the transportation industry. In that role, he advised motor carriers, drivers, shippers, manufacturers and governmental entities. He also defended clients against wrongful death, serious personal injury and property damage claims.
