Kelly concentrates her law practice on general negligence, insurance defense and professional liability, including medical and non-medical malpractice. She has prior practice experience at a mid-size firm in San Francisco where she analyzed and drafted coverage opinions on commercial claims related to construction defect, premises liability and products liability. She also handled cases involving excess insurance coverage litigation.
Previously, Kelly concentrated on appellate work and managed a litigation caseload in New York including several trials representing both medical and non-medical professional clients.
Kelly’s background includes extensive involvement with several nonprofit boards, including positions as board vice chair and chair of the Committee on Trustees for a private independent K-12 school. During this time, Kelly led the bylaws review and revision process and also assumed leadership roles in capital campaigns, strategic planning, rebranding and expansion to co-education.
