Litchfield Cavo Attends 2025 Texas Construction Law Conference
Litchfield Cavo LLP Partner Ellen G. Tagtmeier attended the 38th Annual Texas Construction Law Conference, sponsored by the Construction Law Foundation of Texas and the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. The event was held March 6-7 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. Ellen attended the event to meet with professionals in the construction law field and listen to educational sessions presented by distinguished industry speakers.
The Conference is held annually for industry professionals to gather and discuss the latest Texas construction law updates. Presentation topics included 2025 industry-significant legal issues, including the jury charge in construction cases and legislative changes on the horizon that is expected to substantially impact the construction industry and related litigation, and much more.
The Construction Law Foundation of Texas supports educational, professional and community organizations, as well as programs and charities to strengthen the Texas construction industry. The Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is committed to keeping its members abreast of the latest legal developments affecting the construction industry.
Ellen’s practice includes construction defect litigation, as well as defending against injuries from construction job sites. Her construction litigation experience includes representing general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, owners, manufacturers, suppliers, architects and engineers in contract formation and litigation.
