Ellen is a native Houstonian and has been practicing law since 1989. She has extensive trial, appellate, mediation and arbitration experience in state and federal courts. Ellen’s practice includes construction defect litigation, insurance defense litigation and litigating commercial, real estate and transportation claims, as well as defending against injuries from construction job sites. Her construction litigation experience includes representing general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, owners, manufacturers, suppliers, architects and engineers in contract formation and in litigation.
Ellen served as a briefing attorney for Justice Franklin Spears on the Texas Supreme Court and has extensive experience handling civil appeals in state and federal courts in Texas.
