Litchfield Cavo Attends Texas Construction Law Conference

Litchfield Cavo LLP attended the 37th Annual Construction Law Conference, sponsored by the Construction Law Foundation of Texas and the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. The event was held March 7-8 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. Our Houston Partner Ellen G. Tagtmeier attended the event to meet with professionals in the construction law field and listen to educational sessions presented by distinguished industry speakers.

The Conference is held annually for industry professionals to gather and discuss the latest Texas construction law updates. Presentation topics included 2024 case law updates, mediation guidelines for multi-party construction defect cases, causes of action and damages in construction law, and much more.

The Construction Law Foundation of Texas supports educational, professional and community organizations, as well as programs and charities to strengthen the Texas construction industry. The Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is committed to keeping its members abreast of the latest legal developments affecting the construction industry.

Ellen’s practice includes construction defect litigation, as well as defending against injuries from construction job sites. Her construction litigation experience includes representing general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, owners, manufacturers, suppliers, architects and engineers in contract formation and litigation.
