NaVarrio is an experienced litigation attorney with a strong background in healthcare defense and labor and employment law. He offers a strategic approach to complex, high-exposure matters and has the capability to effectively advocate for clients across a wide range of legal forums.

Prior to his healthcare defense experience, NaVarrio supported the Office of the Illinois Attorney General as a consulting attorney. During this time, he provided legal counsel to state agencies and assisted with defending against employment-related federal claims. With a balanced litigation background, NaVarrio has represented clients on both sides of administrative, state and federal disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims, often arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and Illinois Human Rights Act.

Earlier in his professional journey, NaVarrio participated in the WorldTeach program through Harvard University where he served as an English teacher. Leveraging his command of English and Chinese, he lectured students and faculty, served as the first foreign hiring advisor and interviewer for local English teachers in the school’s history, and acted as a representative of WorldTeach’s inaugural mainland China program. Notably, NaVarrio was recognized with the Outstanding Teaching Performance Award by the Ministry of Education in Hunan, China.
