Allison focuses her practice on insurance coverage defense, business litigation, general liability, insurance litigation and construction liability matters. She has experience handling pre-litigation investigations, litigation and negotiations, and applies a comprehensive understanding of legal practices to her representation.

Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Allison served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for two jurisdictions, where she prosecuted a range of violent crime cases and managed a high-volume caseload. During this time, she further developed her litigation skills, working closely with law enforcement and community organizations. Allison also was one of two prosecutors designated to handle bomb and arson matters, which involved conducting research, obtaining specialized certifications, taking expert depositions and coordinating with insurance companies.

Earlier in her career, Allison gained civil litigation experience as a Legal Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri. Her familiarity with courtroom procedures and rules allows her to effectively advocate for her clients in hearings and at trial. Allison’s background in both civil and criminal litigation brings valuable perspective to her current practice.
