Litchfield Cavo Exhibits at Medical Professional Liability Conference
Litchfield Cavo LLP will be an exhibitor at the upcoming 2024 Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Association Conference. This year’s event will be held May 8-10 in Washington, D.C. at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Litchfield Cavo Partners Joseph P. Sullivan and Paul A. Ruscheinski will attend the Conference to learn about current and future industry needs, and significant issues that impact the medical professional liability field. Event participants include insurance, patient safety and risk management professionals, corporate and defense counsel, as well as physicians, dentists and other healthcare industry members.
During the event, attendees are invited to attend several educational sessions presented by industry leaders. This year’s Conference sessions include topics such as navigating the unique economy, reducing the risk of diagnostic error, the impact of artificial intelligence on healthcare and the medical professional liability industry, gender affirming care and more. Registrants will also have the opportunity to visit with colleagues from various areas of the medical professional liability insurance industry.
In addition to the education sessions, there will be a Leadership Forum held for C-Suite, Board-level professionals and industry “rising leaders” to discuss how to maximize knowledge and leadership capabilities. The Conference will also hold an MPL Claims Defense Forum for defense counsel, claims professionals and those with an interest in collaborating to support the defense bar and the evolving litigation environment.
