Litchfield Cavo Partners Successful in First COVID-19 Coverage Jury Trial

Litchfield Cavo Founding Partner Daniel G. Litchfield and Partner Ericka C. Hammett recently secured a defense verdict in a jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in favor of our insurance company client facing a COVID-19 coverage claim.

Dan, a founding partner of Litchfield Cavo LLP, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and extra-contractual liability counseling, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), litigation, trials and appeals. He has handled a wide variety of civil cases over the years, including construction defect, business tort, antitrust and employment discrimination cases.

Ericka concentrates her practice on insurance coverage matters, including advising insurers on first-party property, third-party commercial general liability, professional liability, toxic tort and bad faith claims. She also defends insurer-clients and their insureds at the trial and appellate court level against claims for property damage, personal injury and professional liability.
