His experience includes litigating insurance coverage disputes such as preparing coverage opinions, seeking declaratory judgments in personal injury and contract matters, and filing summary judgments based on policy exclusions. He has also represented insurers in first-party lawsuits in Texas state and federal courts.

  • Obtained successful summary judgment motion in favor of insurer client based on applicable exclusions in insurance policy
  • Obtained defense verdict as second-chair in Dallas County jury trial against national retailer where plaintiff asked jury to award over $3 million in damages
  • Negotiated tenant’s dismissal of claims against commercial property owner where tenant alleged $4 million in contract damages
  • Represented a subcontractor client against Plaintiff, retirement facility operator, when hired to construct a storm drainage system as part of a new hotel; following oral arguments, the Court reversed their previous ruling granting summary judgment for the plaintiff on liability, and instead granted our motion for summary judgment in full
